The San Antonio Wagyu Factory is taking over an existing restaurant operated by Gen Korean BBQ House, a chain Chubby Group is in the process of acquiring, company officials said.
Although Chubby Group has holdings in Chicago and Atlanta, most of its 40 restaurants are on the West and East coasts. Its other brands include The X Pot, Niku X and Mikiya, according to its website.
