The increasingly popular communal dining experience that is tableside barbecuing of top-of-the-line, all-you-can-eat Wagyu beef is coming to Rosemont’s entertainment district.
Chubby Cattle BBQ, a restaurant chain that started in Los Angeles in 2023 and is rapidly expanding nationwide, is set to open at 5490 Park Place in Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park in summer 2026.
It’ll be the restaurant’s third Illinois location, following the first that opened about a year ago in Chicago’s Chinatown, and the second coming soon on the lower level of Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg.
Diners can choose from a three-tier, all-you-can-eat menu priced between $55 and $85 per person featuring American and Australian full-blood Wagyu, Japanese A5 Wagyu, and a variety of seafood, sushi, hot dishes and vegetables.
