As the largest restaurant group utilizing Wagyu resources in the U.S., we strictly adhere to import regulations. In 2025, we expect to import over 5,000 heads of Wagyu, solidifying Chubby Group as the largest importer of Japanese Wagyu in the U.S.
American Wagyu – Exclusive Ranch Partnership
Our American Wagyu is exclusively raised at 「Masami Ranch」, a Japanese-operated farm spanning 7,000 acres in California and 3,000 acres in Oregon. The ranch utilizes seasonal cattle rotation, ensuring optimal breeding and raising conditions.
Unlike traditional restaurants that source individual cuts from distributors, we partner directly with ranches, overseeing the entire process from breeding to butchering, truly achieving a ‘farm-to-table’ approach that guarantees quality, consistency, and sustainability.
Beyond our direct partnerships with Japan’s largest Wagyu exporter,[ Wagyu Master ](S Foods Inc.), we have also secured exclusive agreements with multiple Japanese farm, including [ Toriyama Ranch ], making us the only U.S.-based restaurant group with such partnerships. In addition to whole cattle imports, we also supplement our supply chain with premium Wagyu cuts as needed, ensuring flexibility and stability.
